My daddy was the family bassmanMy mamma was an engineerAnd I was born one dark gray mornWith music coming in my earsIn my ears. They call me Baby DriverAnd once upon a pair of wheelsHit the road and I'm gone ahWhat's my numberI wonder how your engine feelsBa ba ba baScoot down the roadWhat's my numberI wonder how your engine feels. My daddy was a prominent frogmanMy mamma's in the Naval reserveWhen I was young I carried a gunBut I never got the chance to serveI did not serve. They call me Baby DriverAnd once upon a pair of wheelsHit the road and I'm gone ahWhat's my numberI wonder how your engine feelsBa ba ba baScoot down the roadWhat's my numberI wonder how your engine feels. My daddy got a big promotionMy mamma got a raise in payThere's no-one home, we're all aloneOh come int my room and playYes we can play.I'm not talking about your pigtailsBut I'm talking 'bout your sex appealHit the road and I'm gone ahWhat's my numberI wonder how your engine feels.Ba ba ba baScoot down the roadWhat's my numberI wonder how your engine feels.
